The dramatization describes a possible, but unlikely,
meeting between Mary the mother of Jesus, Mary
Magdalene and Lydia of Thyatira. The meeting takes
place near Ephesus in what is modern day Turkey.
Tradition is fairly consistent that the Apostle John took
seriously the command of Jesus to care for Mary, and
that she followed him to his ministry in Asia Minor. What
if circumstances aligned for these three women, each
important to the early church in her own way, to have a
conversation together. What would they discuss?
